1. The "Just For Fun" Clause

RareDrop.io is an experimental hobby project intended exclusively for entertainment and creative exploration. By accessing this site, you acknowledge that the service is provided "as-is" and "as-available." We make no guarantees regarding the permanence of your digital collection, the uptime of the servers, or the continued existence of the platform itself.

Basically: We are doing this for fun. Please treat your participation as such.

2. AI Content & Absolute Liability Waiver

RareDrop utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini) to generate card artwork and flavor text based on user-provided inputs.

  • User as Publisher: You are the sole publisher of any content generated through your account. You take full responsibility for the prompts you provide and the resulting output.
  • No Endorsement: RareDrop does not pre-screen, monitor, or verify AI-generated content. We do not endorse any viewpoints, imagery, or text created by the AI.
  • Absolute Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RareDrop, its creators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from content you generate. This includes, but is not limited to, claims of copyright infringement, defamation, or offensive imagery.
WARNING: GENERATING ILLEGAL, EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE, OR COPYRIGHT-INFRINGING CONTENT WILL RESULT IN AN IMMEDIATE PERMANENT BAN AND DATA DELETION.

3. Token Economy & Infrastructure

"Tokens" are a digital utility within RareDrop. They are not a currency, security, or financial instrument.

  • No Monetary Value: Tokens cannot be redeemed for legal tender or any value outside of the RareDrop ecosystem.
  • Sustenance Fee: Token purchases are used exclusively to offset the significant costs of hosting infrastructure, database maintenance, and Large Language Model (LLM) API fees required to run the AI features.
  • No Refunds: All token acquisitions and expenditures are final and non-refundable.

4. Total Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAREDROP AND ITS CREATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF "CARDS," LOSS OF TOKENS, OR ANY PSYCHOLOGICAL DISTRESS ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE OR EXPOSURE TO AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

YOU USE RAREDROP AT YOUR OWN RISK. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY CEASE USE OF THE PLATFORM.
